The exhibition was the outcome of the residency at the university and creates an alternative portrait of campus life through a series of art works. It draws attention to random encounters and focuses on possibility and what is easily overlooked. The Paternoster lift in the remarkable counter-modernist architecture of the campus forms the scene for the art work ‘Split the Lark’. Here amateur actors perform  and merge with unknowing fellow lift companions. The resulting video work explores the effect the camera has in public space.
