For Praise the Song I performed 5 East German songs in 5 European cities, eleven years after the fall of the Berlin wall. By placing the songs out of context and time the lyrics receive new dimensions.
The installation shows the video visually overlapping by 4 mirrors and 5 speakers are set up to play the songs simultaneously with silences of 11 minutes in between.
