The exhibition presented selected works from the Song Archive Project in Europe, Iran and USA from the past 6 years. A site-specific installation at the Cheekwood Museum was inspired by and a response to the international musical reputation and legacy of Nashville. A stage installed for the duration of the show invited all visitors to perform live and the interaction was captured on video via live link into another separate exhibition room. The piece highlights the voyeuristic relationship between spectator and participator, public and private realms.
